It is something that I think art lovers wonder about. Where did the inspiration come from? Is that from a photo? Sometimes it comes from my imagination when I want to incorporate things that just aren't found in a photo. This painting progression shows the steps that I took to go from a photo to a finished painting. I do modify things to my liking. Adding and editing with artistic license. It's a special license you have to apply for. Kidding!!
